BANDHAVGARH TRAILS (3NIGHTS/4DAYS)

Bandhavgarh National Park  historically a game preserve of the Maharajas has the highest density of the Royal Bengal tigers in the world. There is a saying about the Park that goes: “In any other Park, You are lucky if you see a tiger. In Bandhavgarh,you are unlucky if you don’t see (at least) one.”

It is home to some famous named individual tigersThe female tigress called Sita, who once appeared on the cover of National Geographic, is considered the most photographed tiger in the world.

ITINERARY

DAY1:Departure from Delhi to Umaria by overnight train (Sun/tue/fri/thu)

DAY2:Arrival in Umaria/transfer to Bandhavgarh national park(170km/3hrs)

Upon arrival you will be picked up from the railway station and driven to your resort.Check into  your  rooms  and rest awhile to let the feel of the jungle sink in.After lunch at the restaurant get ready for a thrilling game drive ,the afternoon jeep safari into the Bandhavgarh National Park.Dinner & Overnight stay in resort

DAY 3: Bandhavgarh Safari

Early morning around 5.15am your wake up call would be accompanied by tea/coffee and biscuits.Its time for the morning jeep safari.For five hours the thrill of coming up close to a tiger will make your day.The company of an  experienced forest guide will illuminate your curiousity.Return to the resort for lunch.Spend the latter part of the day enjoying the inhouse resort activities or walk around the nature track of your resort. Tea/Coffee Biscuits would be served in the evening, dinner & overnight at resort.

DAY4: Departure from Bandhavgarh

Today morning after breakfast you will check out from the resort  and transfer to Umaria railway station to board the train to your home.
