JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK (2 NIGHTS/3DAYS)

This is the oldest national park in India located in the sub Himalayan regions of Uttarakhand. The Corbett National park is India’s first wildlife Park created in 1936 to protect  the endangered majestic Royal Bengal Tiger under Project Tiger.Spread over 526 sq km and a buffer zone of 780sq km ,it’s unique terrain of hills replete with dense pine forests,rivulets,marshes and grasslands is home to 110 trees species,50 species of mammals including the jungle cat,barking deer,sambur deer,chital,himalyan black bears,580 bird species and 25 reptile species.The freely roaming Royal Bengal Tigers and asiatic elephant herds have made its reputation as a wildlife lovers paradise.

ITINERARY

Day 1: DELHI-RAMNAGAR ( Jim Corbett National Park ) 235 kms. 6 Hrs Drive

7AM: Depart from Delhi for Corbett National Park. Arrive and check into your hotel and have lunch
2PM: After lunch visit Corbett Falls,a spot famous for its natural beauty and where you will find ample relaxation..
On the way back visit the magnificent temple of Lord Hanuman.
Return to resort hotel, have dinner , enjoy bonfire and relax.

Day 2: IN THE WILDS OF THE CORBETT NATIONAL PARK
6 AM: Begin your day with a jungle safari(direct payment) in one of the zones of the park early in the morning.The view of the sunrise inside the jungle is a joy to behold.Rest assured you will see mother nature at her enchanting best. You will stop again and again to catch a sight of the animals and birds.After Safari, return to hotel for breakfast.
2 AM:After lunch in the afternoon visit Garjiya Devi temple,an ancient shrine dedicated to Goddess of Shakti. Visit Corbett Museum,created in the memory of the legendary hunter turned conservator E.James Corbett’s home which has a collection of his hunting equipments and many other antique articles of interest

Day 3: RAMNAGAR-DELHI 235 kms 6 hrs drive

10 AM drive back to your destination in Delhi.
