Kathmandu is the capital of the mountainous country of Nepal.Standing at a a height of 1400m, the Kathmandu valley is surrounded by the hills of Shivapuri,Phulchowki,Nagarjun and Chandragiris.Explore Thamel,wind your way to Durbar Square ,view the traditional architecture of Kathmandu.Places to see are the Pashupatinath Temple,The Kailashnath Mahadev Statue which is the worlds tallest Shiva statue,Swayambhunath, Baudhnath and Budhanilkantha.
124 miles from Kathmandu is Pokhara, the most popular tourist spot in Nepal where you can get an uninterrupted view of the snow capped Himalayas.It is place to start all major trekking expeditions.Surrounded by beautiful snow-caped mountains, with a magnificent lake of crystal-clear pure Himalayan water, the The Fewa lake.Visit the Davis Falls 2km from Pokhara.The water fall directly goes into a deep and narrow canal with no ends. Other places to visit in Pokhara are Barahi temple, situated in the middle of Phewa lake, Pokhara Museum, Annapurna Museum, Bindhyabasini temple, and World Peace Pagoda.

DAY 1:
Transfer from your residence or hotel in DELHI to the railway station for the overnight journey to VARANASI.Your train will be the Shiv Ganga express leaving Delhi at 18.45hrs.Travel is by AC 3-tier.
DAY 2:
Arrival in VARANASI at 07.30hrs.Transfer to hotel.After breakfast in the morning embark on sight seeing tour by yourself.The best way to travel is by rickshaw or you can hire a car from the hotel .We recommend the following tour : Leave for a full day temple tour of Varanasi viz. the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. After attending the enthralling evening Ganga aarti at the Dashashwamedh ghats near the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, you can retire back to the hotel.
DAY 3:
After breakfast you can again do a sightseeing and shopping tour of the city.Other places to see are Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the Archaeological Museum, Bharat Kala Bhavan and Ramnagar Fort. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 4:
After breakfast ,set out for a day tour of the holy city of Sarnath by car.Check out of hotel before the trip. Places to see are various Buddhist stupas, Buddhist temples and the Sarnath temple.
